As a non-webmaster you will not be concerned with SEO.
This is for webmasters only.  SEO is how the webmaster gets his website visible to the search engines which display his website hopefully on the first page of results after someone enters a keyword or phrase into their favorite search engine.

SEO and inbound linking - I've already touched on this a little, and I plan to write an entire article devoted to SEO, but for now you might get a basic understanding from this free ebook "SEO Made Easy".  Also , here is a helpful video in which Frank Kern interviewes SEO guru, Nancy Andrews in Part I.   In Part II, you can watch as she conducted a live SEO experiment to see if she can get her page listed in the top 10 at Google before the interview is finished.

If you have any questions about SEO, just ask me.  Chances are 99% that I can either answer them or point you to a resource that can.   Link exchanges with other webmasters are good, but one-way inbound links are even better.  Just remember that if you exchange links, the other site should be relevant and of a PR of 5 or higher.  Make it your goal to acquire at least one quality inbound link per day to your web site.
