Alphabetical DEFINITIONS to terms and abbreviations used on this page are HERE.

Forum postingis one of the best ways to get not only inbound links, but also targeted prospects to your web page if done correctly.  Read the forum rules, create your profile, create your signature file (as discussed on the "signature page").

Read the posts until you can contribute your knowledge and comments.  After you have become familiar with the forum and some of the frequent posters, then you should spend 1 hour a day making 5 posts at each of the top 5 forums.

Do not push your product; not only do the forum participants hate that, but it is probably against forum rules.  Your URL in your signature is sufficient and acceptable.

Here is a list of some top forums listed in order of PR (Page Ranking).  Note that although Yahoo Answers is listed at the top with a PR of 8, you must be very careful to not make your post look like a sales pitch.  Someone might ask, "Are there any good work at home programs?"  You must be creative enough to work your actual URL into the answer without the risk of your post being banned.  Be creative.  Create a Yahoo Group.  Post the link to your group in your answer.  Post an article that you have copyrights to onto your website.  Post the link to your website's article in the source box when you answer the question on Yahoo Answers.

Post at forums (Highest possible PR is 9).

Have a powerful signature.  Offer a free report, make a powerful claim, etc., or drive people to a squeeze page to claim their freebie.  When posting to forums, SEO the title and, if possible, the post itself.  This will bring those who are searching on search engines for your topic to your post.  Since your post also has your signature, some of these people could also end up at your website.
